Here is where I'll be rating and reviewing games!!

Old Man's Journey

A cute game about life and ageing. You play as a grandfather as he traverses through the countryside and solve puzzles to discover places that evoke memories of his life.
Gameplay: minimal, very relaxed
Graphics: beautifuul! Very pretty. artsy
Story: no dialogue but very evocative :)

80 days

This is a dreeaaam if you've ever read and liked Jules Vernes books! Or if you ever dreamed of being a big explorer!! Insane replayability! Has one of my most favorite writing in any game ever! I love ittt
Gameplay: Works best on phone! Most of the gameplay is hinged upon making smart (or not so smart) decisions
Graphics: Minimal but has some very nice art
Story: Good writing! So many endings!! Never gets old

Backbone

I think about this game a lot. It wasn't an instant hit with me while I was playing it but afterwards it has a way of sticking with you? Backbone is an adventure game based heavily on the film noir genre, but with anthropomorphized animals...and you play as a DETECTIVE! This game has a huge turning point around the end that totally threw me off; initially I didn't like it, but nowadays I think I do. I just wish the game had expanded upon this new "twist" they throw at you, a little bit more.
Gameplay: Adventure puzzle game. Not as hard as some other puzzle games
Graphics: Lovely pixel art; all the districts and characters felt very fleshed out!! I loved the design of the various sections of the city.
Story: It's pretty decent but felt sort of rushed towards the end.

Dropsy

Dropsy has a very special place in my heart :) On its surface it is a creepy-cute point and click adventure game, but at its core it's about deeper emotions and the way we perceive kindness, society's outcasts; and about being nice and gentle no matter what. It's short, quirky and fun enough that I'd recommend it to everyone!
Gameplay: Adventure point-n-click. Might have some weird solutions to certain puzzles but overall it's playable if you have more than 3 braincells
Graphics: Really good pixel art! Manages to merge the creepy and the cute.
Story: Has 0 text and yet the dialogue is more coherent than a lot of AAA games out there. Very good and touching story! You play as a clown trying to clear your family circus' name

Landlord of the Woods

It's hard to categorize Landlord of the Woods because it's so incredibly kooky and bizarre! But to boil it down it's basically a point and click puzzle game where you will need to think outside of the box. It's fairly short but very enjoyable, like a brownie slice. In a lot of ways it reminded me of the classic point n clicks of the 00s, like Samorost and the Rusty Lake games (and I mean this in the best way possible). It's very short, around 10 minutes or so but it's totally worth your money (99 cents on steam!)
Gameplay: Puzzle point-n-click. Nothing ever gets too difficult but the puzzles are just as bizarre as their solutions!
Graphics: Nice artsy style, no big graphics so game would even run on a potato
Story: Tiny story where you act as a landlord for some woodland creatures. The puzzles are more the focal point rather than the story.

Samorost (1,2,3)

I'll come out and say this: I will always be heavily biased towards Samorost. The entire series is just an aesthetically pleasing feast to your ears and eyes. Samorost has its roots in early flash player games; I remember accidentally stumbling on and playing the first one online, and for young little me it was AMAZINGGG. Flash games overall were very well done in the 00s and they were all passion projects (the concept of making money off of flash/java games was still relatively niche and unknown), but even in that huge sea of quality games Samorost felt very different. It transports you to a whole other world. I know the games are also available on mobile now and it's perfect to play whenver you need to unwind. It's an eccentric, kooky, charming little point n click adventure with beautiful art and music.
Gameplay: point n click. Overall the puzzles aren't hard if you're good at thinking outside of the box.
Graphics: BEAUTIFULLLLL ART
Story: The story is told entirely without words; but Samorost has no problem conveying its story to the player :)
