Obra Dinn is the product of yet another amazing idea by Lucas Pope. If you've ever played Papers Please(and you should, it's an amazing game) then you might consider yourself familiar with his unique style of storytelling. But Obra Dinn is equal parts very reminiscent of Papers Please yet also incredibly different.
You play as an investigator trying to uncover multiple disappearances on a ship. Graphics-wise it's honestly a treat BUT gave me horrible motion sickness. So if you're prone to motion sickness like me just beware. From a gameplay perspective, I felt like the game was brilliantly done. Some of the puzzles became very hard however once I took a break from the game and tried to continue it after a while. The story just became disjointed and I had trouble keeping up. So if you're planning on playing this don't stretch it out over weeks like I did. It's still worth giving a try and playing it.
